"I cannot thank you enough for the beautiful bead and necklace kit that you made for me to give to my friend/client for her blessing way ceremony. As it turns out I was unable to attend the blessing way because I had a stomach virus; however, I gave her the necklace (which I made with my six year old son) at her next prenatal visit.

She loved it!

I attended her birth the other night and it was amazing. During her labor, just as she was getting into the active part of her labor I (as her midwife) read the poem you wrote. This is the poem that first brought me to you - when reading it in your book I fell in love with your spirit and had to contact you. I don't know if you remember, but that is how we first came to be in contact. Anyway, this was a very important turning point in her labor. There wasn't a dry eye in the house while I was reading the poem. It is very powerful and you are a very special woman.

This was my client's first home birth, although it was her fifth child. She has been pregnant 10 times with a history of many losses including two ectopics (one where she lost a tube and almost died), an early miscarriage, a cesarean section for her second baby, two VBACs, and two demises at 20 weeks, one of which I was with her for last year. So, as you can imagine, this baby was a much awaited for miracle and this was an incredibly healing birth.

"I got the samples yesterday... thank you so much! I actually already tried out the bug repellent some last night (we had a mosquito in the room!). I put just a little on my arms and face, and Brandon decided to not put any on in order to see if the mosquito would bite him and not me. I heard the mosquito buzz around my ear, but he never bit me! And he didn't even bite Brandon (Brandon said you could say something like "It's so effective, even those around you won't get bit!" lol).
